Lehigh Set to Host Boston University Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Stabler Arena

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh (8-7, 4-0) welcomes Boston University to Stabler Arena for a Wednesday evening matchup. 

The Mountain Hawks have started Patriot League play 4-0, defeating Army, Bucknell, Holy Cross and most recently Colgate. Lehigh sits alone atop the league standings.

Lehigh outscored Colgate by 20 in the second half to pull away for a 64-45 victory Saturday, overcoming a one-point halftime deficit. Lily Fandre led the Mountain Hawks with 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting, including 2-of-3 from three-point range. Gracyn Lovette added a career-high 16 points, 13 in the second half, and had five assists.

The Mountain Hawks have maintained a balanced offensive attack this season. Lily Fandre leads the team scoring wise, averaging 15 points per game, which ranks sixth in the league.

Fandre's 21 points on Saturday, combined with her performance Wednesday where she achieved 1,000 career points and scored a team high 23 leading to a 60-57 win, earned her Patriot League Player of the Week. 

Boston University will enter the matchup in search for its first Patriot League win, and 4-11 overall on the season. For the Terriers, Anete Adler leads the team offensively, averaging 13.5 points per game. Additionally, Adler patrols the paint, leading the league in blocks (1.6 per game). 

A season ago, Lehigh and Boston University split their two regular-season matchups. However, the Mountain Hawks defeated the Terriers 62-44 in the Patriot League quarterfinals.
