Lily Fandre Earns Patriot League Player of the Week Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Senior Lily Fandre earned Patriot League Player of the Week honors, the league office announced Monday afternoon.

The Mountain Hawks sit at 4-0 in Patriot League play after wins over Colgate and Holy Cross this past week.

Fandre averaged 22 points and five rebounds in the two wins. Dating back to November, she has scored in double figures in nine straight games and has reached the 20-point mark five times this season.

In the 60-57 win Wednesday night at Holy Cross, Fandre reached the 1,000-point milestone in the first quarter, becoming the 25th player in program history to score 1,000 career points at Lehigh, and led the Mountain Hawks with 23 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field. Fandre scored 17 of her 23 points in the first half and finished four points shy of her career high. She shot 6-of-9 from the field in the first half and went 3-of-6 from 3-point range, with her milestone basket coming on a 3-pointer from the left corner. 

In the 64-45 win versus Colgate,  Fandre scored with 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field, including a 2-of-3 effort from beyond the arc.
