
Seven Student-Athletes Listed As ITA Scholar Athletes, Team Earns All-Academic Status

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Seven Lehigh student-athletes were listed as Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athletes and the Mountain Hawks earned All-Academic Team distinction. Maggie Forkner, Hannah Letzer, Allyce Gaborik, Giselle Vlassis, Audrey Harrington, Ronit Khromchenko and Hamsa Javagal were all recognized by the ITA.
This year, 1,462 Division I women's student-athletes were named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, and 222 women's tennis programs were awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
Teams earn All-Academic status by having a combined 3.2 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) or higher. The Mountain Hawks posted a 3.46 team GPA in the 2024-25 school year.
In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a player must have a GPA of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year and must be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
Javagal led the way for the Mountain Hawks with a perfect 4.0 GPA this past academic year. Khromchenko had a near-perfect 3.98 GPA, Harrington had a 3.87 GPA, Vlassis posted a 3.82 GPA, Gaborik had a 3.76 GPA, Letzer posted a 3.73 GPA and Forkner had a 3.67 GPA.
The Mountain Hawks went 12-8 with a 4-3 mark in Patriot League play, advancing to the semifinal round of the Patriot League Championship.
