Kochanowicz Tabbed As Patriot League Rookie Of The Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – First-year Cole Kochanowicz was selected as the Patriot League Baseball Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday afternoon. Lehigh baseball has now earned two Player of the Week awards, one Pitcher of the Week award and one Rookie of the Week award on the season.
Across two appearances, Kochanowicz posted a 0.00 ERA through 6.0 innings with six strikeouts and a .130 batting average against. The first-year made his first career start in a 36-1 win over Delaware State on April 2 and earned the win in game two against Navy on April 6, tossing the final 3.0 innings.
On the season, Kochanowicz has a 3.31 ERA across seven appearances with 20 strikeouts and .190 batting average against in 16.1 innings pitched.
The Mountain Hawks return to action on Wednesday, April 9 at home against Muhlenberg at 3:30 p.m.
