BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh junior Aiden LeBlanc has been named Patriot League Co-Golfer of the Week, the league announced Wednesday. LeBlanc shares the award with Lafayette's Travis Robertson after both players tied for third place at last weekend's Roar-EE Invitational at Wiltwyck Golf Club in New York.

The weekly award is the first for a Lehigh men's golfer this season.

LeBlanc shot two under par 142 (68-74) over the 36-hole tournament to tie for third place in a field of 68 golfers, four strokes behind the tournament co-medalists. His opening round 68 matched his low round of the season and was a season-low in relation to par (-4). LeBlanc made five birdies and one bogey in his opening round 68 then added two more birdies in second round 74 as Lehigh finished fourth in a 10-team field.

On Tuesday, LeBlanc went 1-1 in doubles action and 1-0 in singles match play against Lafayette as the Mountain Hawks retained the Presidents Cup for a fifth straight year with a 10-10 tie.

In the spring season, LeBlanc led Lehigh in two of its three tournaments as he was also top finisher at the UC San Diego Invitational. He also led Lehigh in the fall at The Doc Gimmler and the Lehigh Invitational.

LeBlanc and the Mountain Hawks will play in the Patriot League Championship, Friday through Sunday at the Bucknell Golf Club in Lewisburg, Pa.
