Stage Set for Patriot League Tournament

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh women's tennis team will be the fourth seed at the Patriot League Tournament, as seeds and brackets were announced Tuesday afternoon. The Mountain Hawks will face No. 5 Bucknell in the second of four quarterfinals, which will take place Friday in Hamilton, N.Y.Â
Lehigh finished the season 11-7 (4-3 PL). The Mountain Hawks are winners of their last two matches, which both included sweeps. Lehigh ended the regular season with a 5-0 win over Lafayette on April 18.
Lehigh picked up a quarterfinal win over No. 4 Loyola in the Patriot League quarterfinals last season as the Mountain Hawks secured their ticket to the semifinals for the first time since 2018.Â
Bucknell is 10-10 (3-4 PL). The Mountain Hawks suffered a 5-2 loss to Bucknell in the regular season on April 4.Â
The Patriot League Tournament kicks off Thursday with the opening round match between No. 8 Lafayette and No. 9 Holy Cross.Â
