BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Following the conclusion of the regular season, the Patriot League announced its postseason All-League teams and major awards on Monday afternoon. Senior guard Tyler Whitney-Sidney earned a spot on the second team while first-year Hank Alvey was named to the all-rookie team.

Whitney-Sidney has now been recognized by the league in all four years of his career. The Somerville, Massachusetts native was named to the all-rookie team as a first-year, third team as a sophomore, first team as a junior and now second team as a senior. Alvey becomes Lehigh's first all-rookie honoree since Whitney-Sidney and Keith Higgins Jr. in 2021-22.

Starting in all 29 games, Whitney-Sidney has been a steady presence for the Mountain Hawks all season long. Whitney-Sidney has averaged 14.3 points and 15.1 in league play as well as a career-high in field goal percentage (48.1%). He has scored in double-figures in 23 of Lehigh's 29 games, including five games of 20+ points and a career-high 32 points against Boston U. (2/26). In addition, Whitney-Sidney has etched his name in Lehigh's record book, reaching as high as 13th on the team's all-time scoring list this season.

Alvey has been Lehigh's primary starting center all season long, starting in 27 of his 28 appearances. The big man from Mapleton, Illinois has averaged 7.1 points and 4.7 rebounds per game while leading the team in blocks with 18. Alvey has reached double-figures on eight occasions this season, including a career-high 14 against Georgetown (11/6) and Lafayette (2/22). Alvey also registered a career-high four blocks against Bucknell (1/2).

The ninth seeded Mountain Hawks will face the eighth seed Loyola Maryland Greyhounds in the Patriot League Championship first round on Tuesday, March 4 at 7 p.m. in Baltimore.
