Dow Named Faceoff Specialist of the Week

BETHLEHEM, P.a - Lehigh men's lacrosse senior Sean Dow was named the Patriot League Faceoff Specialist of the Week, as announced Monday afternoon.Â
Dow had an outstanding game in Lehigh's 13-8 win over No. 18 Navy, winning 23-of-25 faceoffs while picking up a career-high 14 ground balls. The Simpsonville, S.C., native ranks first in the Patriot League in faceoff win percentage (60%) and first in ground balls per game (6.33).
This is Dow's third time in his career garnering the weekly award and first time this season. He has won 69-of-115 faceoffs while corralling 38 ground balls in Lehigh's six games this season.Â
Dow and the Mountain Hawks will host No. 3 Army on Saturday at 12 p.m. at the Ulrich Sports Complex.Â
