Reigle Wins Silver, Six All-Time Top 10 Additions On Day One Of PLC

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Another podium finish for junior Laura Reigle and six new all-time top 10 marks highlighted the opening day of competition for the Mountain Hawk women at the Patriot League Championships Saturday at Navy's Wesley A. Brown Field House. Lehigh also qualified four runners for Sunday finals in action on the track.

The Mountain Hawks finished day one tied for fourth place with Bucknell with 19 points. Boston University leads the way with 72 points, with Army and Navy tied for second on 53 points.

Jumps
Reigle cleared 3.95m in the pole vault to earn a second-place finish. She has now finished first, third and second in three appearances at the indoor championship meet. Corinn Brewer tied for sixth, clearing 3.65m to score in the event.

Senior Lillian Mauger finished sixth in the long jump with a leap of 5.68, which moves her into second all-time at Lehigh. Senior Keisha Modi finished 12th in the long jump at 5.41m, while junior Grace Nation tied her PR of 5.25m in a 13th place finish.

Sprints/Hurdles
Senior Shelby Dejana qualified for Sunday's finals in the 60m hurdles, running 8.92 to set a PR and move into eighth all-time by one-hundredth of a second.

Junior Grace Kennedy set a PR and moved into second all-time in the 200m, running 25.08 to finish in 11th place. Kennedy also qualified for the finals in the 400m with her time of 55.76 improving on her second all-time mark. First-year Jade Sanders (15th, 57.98) and sophomore Kasey White (17th, 58.20) also posted PRs in the 400m, with Sanders moving into ninth all-time.

Junior Gianna Mangili finished 14th in the 60m dash with a time of 7.83.

Lehigh has a pair of finalists in the 800m in junior Abby Klebe (2:11.30) and senior Svea Wickelgren (2:11.71) qualifying sixth and eighth, respectively. Senior Riley Morrell also posted a PR (2:16.38), finishing 18th.

In the mile, senior Lauryn Heskin ran 4:55.89 to move into ninth place all-time, finishing 14th, while senior Maddison Hayes also posted a PR (4:59.09).

The 5000m saw senior Savanah Beavers finish 16th in 17:40.60 and first-year Kaitlyn Highduch posted a PR of 17:47.28 to finish 17th.

The 4x800m relay team of Morrell, junior Amber Barrios, first-year Lauren Bower and Heskin claimed sixth place with a time of 9:09.57.
