BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh women's basketball secured its 11th straight win, downing Bucknell 73-59 Wednesday night in its Pride Game, presented by the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Equity. The Mountain Hawks improved to 22-4 (13-1 PL) and the Bison dropped to 14-11 (8-5 PL).Â
Lehigh's 11-game winning streak is its longest since the 2009-10 season when the Mountain Hawks won 16 straight games. The victory also clinched a top four seed for the Mountain Hawks in next month's Patriot League Tournament. Lehigh will host a quarterfinal game at Stabler Arena on Monday, March 10.Â
"It feels great," said head coach Addie Micir. "This group plays with joy and effort the entire way. They have been the same since day one, so to have this and so many people in the stands celebrating this has been awesome."
Three Mountain Hawks finished in double figures with fifth-year senior guard Maddie Albrecht pacing the way with a team-high 20 points. Ella Stemmer was next with 16 points and Whitney Lind chipped in 13 points. Meghan O'Brien was one point away from finishing in double figures as she netted nine of her own points.
The Mountain Hawks came out of the gates soaring, going on a 7-3 run to start the game. Stemmer converted a driving layup to put Lehigh up 4-3 two minutes into the game and the Mountain Hawks would hold the lead for the remainder of the game. Lehigh shot 70% from the field while holding the Bison to one made field goal in the first quarter to take an 18-5 lead at the end of the first frame.Â
Lehigh's early lead helped propel the Mountain Hawks to victory on Wednesday. The Bison outscored Lehigh 22-18 in the second frame to cut Lehigh's lead to 36-27 at halftime.Â
The Mountain Hawks won the third quarter, holding a 20-16 advantage to take a 13-point lead heading into the final quarter. Lehigh did not let its foot off the gas in the fourth frame.Â

The Mountain Hawks shot 27-of-55 (49.1%) from the field and 10-of-24 (41.7%) from beyond the arc. The Bison shot 19-of-50 (38%) and 6-of-17 (35.3%) from deep.Â
Senior guard Colleen McQuillen dished out a game-high of eight assists while also corralling a team-high of seven rebounds and four steals.Â
"Colleen is our engine," Micir said. "She just keeps going and going. She's been our real emotional leader too, making sure everybody brings it every day, and that's what you want out of your lead guard."
Ashley Sofilkanich tallied a team-high of 14 points to lead the way for Bucknell.Â
Next up, the Mountain Hawks will travel to Easton, Pa. to take on Lafayette on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Kirby Sports Center. Saturday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+ Â and can be listened to on Fox Sports 94.7 FM and 1230 AM.
