BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh women's basketball looks to continue its winning streak, having won its last 10 games when the Mountain Hawks host Bucknell on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Stabler Arena in Lehigh's Pride Game, presented by the Pride Center and Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Equity. The Mountain Hawks are 21-4 (12-1 PL) and the Bison are 14-10 (9-4 PL).

Lehigh picked up its 10th straight victory in a 69-59 overtime win against Holy Cross on Feb. 15. The Mountain Hawks outscored the Crusaders 14-4 in the final five minutes to secure the win.

Senior guard Ella Stemmer paced the way with a team-high 16 points, also netting her 1,000th career point and her 200th career three-pointer. Stemmer is the third player in program history to score 200 made three-pointers. The Ann Arbor, Mich. native is averaging 11.1 points per game, the second most on the team.

Fifth-year senior wing Maddie Albrecht recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Albrecht was named the Patriot League Player of the Week on Monday after averaging 15.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, four assists and three steals in a 2-0 week for Lehigh. Albrecht averages a team-high 15.8 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.

Senior Remi Sisselman came up clutch down the stretch for Lehigh, scoring eight of her 12 points in overtime.

The Bison are on a three-game winning streak, having picked up a 62-51 victory over Lafayette on Feb. 15. Ashley Sofilkanich led the way in the win with a game–high of 20 points. Sofilkanich is the lone Bison to average double figures, pacing the way with 20.1 points per game. Sofilkanich leads the league in scoring.

Wednesday's game will mark the second meeting of the season between Lehigh and Bucknell.

The Mountain Hawks opened up league play with a 65-53 victory over the Bison on Jan. 2. Lehigh led by as many as 20 points and Bucknell trimmed its lead to four points, but the Mountain Hawks held on strong down the stretch to secure the win.

Lehigh is 48-51 all-time against Bucknell. If the Mountain Hawks defeat the Bison, they would secure the season sweep for the first time since the 2022-23 season. If Lehigh wins, it would also be the first time since the 2009-10 season that the Mountain Hawks would have won 22 games. The Mountain Hawks finished 29-4 that year.

Next up, Lehigh women's basketball will travel to Easton to face Lafayette on Saturday at 2 p.m. Saturday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
