BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh's men's swimming & diving team completed a 2-0 weekend with a 190-104 win against Rider on Saturday afternoon. The Mountain Hawks won 11 of the 16 events of the day.

The only Mountain Hawk to take home multiple first place finishes was first-year Andrew Takach. He earned his first two wins of his college career in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:06.79) and the 200-yard individual medley (1:59.01). The individual medley was also one of four events where Lehigh swept the podium. Sophomore Jack Deppe (2nd) and first-year TJ Hayes (3rd) finished behind Takach, swimming 1:59.97 and 2:00.68, respectively. Deppe won one of the other podium sweeping events, as his time of 46.45 earned him a win in the 100-yard freestyle. He was followed by sophomores Chase Bearley (47.23) and Davis Woerner (47.63) in second and third. Hayes also won an event Lehigh swept, as he finished the 1000-yard freestyle in 9:46.25, which led the field. He was trailed by sophomore Will Pestrichelli (2nd, 9:57.59) and senior Alfredo Figueroa Sedano (3rd, 10:01.82). The remaining race that Lehigh finished top three was the 200-yard freestyle. Sophomore Will Moon won the event in 1:43.49, followed by junior Owen Higinbotham (1:44.22) in second, and Deppe (1:45.19) placed third.

The duo of senior Ben Kisker and sophomore Tristan Ronayne were in full control of the backstroke events, finishing top two in both. Kisker won the 100-yard backstroke (51.11), while Ronayne came second (51.53). Ronayne got his chance at glory over 200 yards, as his time of 1:53.20 edged out Kisker (1:54.22) to win.

First-year Braeden Roach got his first collegiate win in the 500-yard freestyle in 4:43.70. He beat out Higinbotham, who swam 4:44.87 to place second. Roach also placed second in the 200-yard butterfly, swimming 1:57.19. He was beat out by fellow first-year Mountain Hawk Spencer Campbell, who gapped the field to finish at 1:53.80.

Bearley is the remaining individual winner for Lehigh, as he won the 50-freestyle with a time of 21.31. Bearley was also a member of the relay team that championed the 400-yard freestyle relay. The squad of him, Roach, Woerner, and Deppe, closed the meet with a winning time of 3:06.14.
