2025-26 (FIRST-YEAR SEASON): Swam in 11 meets in his first year with the Mountain Hawks… opened his career against Loyola and American where he placed fourth in the 1000 yard freestyle (9:51.36), ninth in the 500 yard freestyle (4:47.02), and 10th in the 200 yard individual medley… was the runner up in the 1000 yard freestyle (9:42.47) and placed fifth in the 200 yard individual medley against West Chester… won the 1000 yard freestyle and took third in the 200 yard individual medley against Rider… was the runner-up with a personal best time in the 200 yard backstroke against Colgate… placed second in the 500 yard freestyle against Seton Hall… swam personal best times in the 1000 yard freestyle (9:32.63, 2nd), 200 yard backstroke (1:52.91, 5th), and 400 yard freestyle (4:06.03, 5th) in Lehigh’s win over Lafayette… placed second in the 1000 yard freestyle (9:46.80) against Marist… won the 1000 yard freestyle (9:34.96) and placed sixth in the 200 yard individual medley (1:59.19) against Bucknell… scored 37 points at the Patriot League Championship with personal bests in the 500 yard freestyle (4:30.39, 20th), 1650 yard freestyle (15:34.62, 9th) and 400 yard individual medley (3:59.56, 15th).

Before Lehigh: Three-time All-Central League including two-time first team… two-time All-Delco, including first team as a senior… Central League champion in 200 free, 500 free, 200 medley relay and 400 free relay… All-District in those same four events… member of All-State 400 free relay and honorable mention All-State in 200 free and 200 medley relay… Academic All-American… swam for Suburban Seahawks Club.
Personal: Son of James and Meg Hayes… siblings Winnie and Frankie… mother swam for Boston College, father played baseball at University of Lynchburg.
