Beavers Receives Patriot League Runner Of The Week Nod

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Senior Savanah Beavers was named the Patriot League Women's Runner of the Week, as annouced by the league on Tuesday morning.
Beavers earned the first win in a collegiate race of her career on Friday at the Lehigh Invite 6K. She finished first out of 70 finishing runners with a time of 21:46.6, ten seconds faster than the second-place runner.
The Mountain Hawks placed second as a team in the event, which was hosted on Lehigh's Goodman Campus. Delaware finished ahead of Lehigh in the standings, but the Mountain Hawks bested Saint Joseph's, Moravian, Muhlenberg and NJIT.
Lehigh will be back on the course on Friday, September 13 for the Harry Groves Spiked Shoe at Penn State University.
