Haley Named Assistant Coach

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh men's lacrosse head coach Will Scudder has announced the addition of TJ Haley as an assistant coach. Coach Haley comes to Lehigh following an illustrious four-year playing career at Georgetown University, where he appeared in 64 games with 55 starts.
TJ will primarily be assisting coach Matt Licciardi on the offensive side of the ball, as well as playing an integral part in recruiting and the program's day to day operations.
"I could not be more excited to be able to bring in TJ Haley as an assistant coach," said head coach Will Scudder. "Coach Haley was a tremendous player at Georgetown University, and has a wealth of knowledge to impart on our players. TJ has a great mind for the sport of lacrosse, but I have been more impressed with his character and selfless demeanor. Coach Haley has a bright future in our sport."
Haley was a four-year starter at attack during his career with the Hoyas, recording 173 points, scoring 29 goals and dishing out 144 assists en route to four consecutive Big East Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances. Haley was also the unanimous Big East Freshman of the Year in 2021 as well as a 3-time member of the All-Big East Second Team.
Haley also excelled in the classroom at Georgetown, earning USILA Scholar All-America honors and Big East All-Academic honors in 2024. Haley finished with a 3.40 GPA and graduated with a bachelor of arts in english in 2024.
Off the field, Haley was the Team Impact Team Coordinator from 2022-24, working one-on-one with Team Impact members to improve cognitive and social skills. He also planned and coordinated with players, coaches, families and schools to facilitate successful events.
Haley was the offensive coordinator of the Next Level Lacrosse Club from 2021-23. During his two years with the Next Level Lacrosse, he coached a team of 25 players ranging from sophomores to seniors in high school
Haley was also the camp director for Next Level Lacrosse during 2021-23. He led a summer camp of over 30 lacrosse players, ranging from first through eighth grade and planned and oversaw activities to engage and develop player skills.
A native of Shady Side, Md., Haley attended St. John's College High School.
Haley rounds out Scudder's coaching staff for the 2025 season, which includes associate head coach Matt Francis and assistant coach Matt Licciardi.
