Hayes Tabbed As Patriot League Runner Of The Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Senior Maddison Hayes was named the Patriot League Women's Runner of the Week, as announced by the league on Tuesday morning.
Hayes picked up the first individual race win of her career on Saturday morning in the annual Lehigh vs. Lafayette 6K dual meet race. She ran the 6K in 22:02.2 to pace the Mountain Hawks and finish first out of 25 runners.
Lehigh continued its dominance over rival Lafayette on the cross country course, extending their winning streak to 19 over the Leopards. The Mountain Hawks earned a perfect score of 15 and placed each of the top five finishers in the race.
Lehigh will next compete at the 50th annual Paul Short Run on Saturday, October 5.
