
Dow Named Faceoff Specialist of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Following a career-high performance at the stripe, Lehigh men's lacrosse's Sean Dow was named the Patriot League Faceoff Specialist of the Week, as announced Monday afternoon by the league.
This is the first weekly honor of Dow's career and the third weekly award of the season for Lehigh. Dow was instrumental in the 9-8 win over Bucknell on March 23, winning a career-high of 14 faceoffs on 19 attempts. Dow also picked up a career-high of 10 ground balls. The junior picked up the biggest faceoff of the game after Bucknell scored with 33 seconds remaining to cut Lehigh's lead to one. Dow owns a 47.1% faceoff win percentage after winning 72-of-151 attempts. The Simpsonville, S.C., native has also picked up 42 ground balls this season.
First-year midfielder Brian Mullen earned a Patriot League Honorable Mention on Monday after scoring a season-best two goals against the Bison.
Dow and the Mountain Hawks will travel to Baltimore to take on Loyola on Friday at 7 p.m.Â
