Lehigh To Host Morgan State Friday, Travel To Marist Saturday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh men's tennis will play back-to-back duals before heading to Orlando, Florida for two meets over spring break. The Mountain Hawks will welcome Morgan State to the Lewis Indoor Tennis Center on Friday before heading to Marist on Saturday for an away doubleheader alongside the women's team.
Lehigh (3-5) welcomed Rider and Bryant to Bethlehem for a doubleheader last Saturday, going 1-1 across the two contests. The Mountain Hawks began the day with a swift 4-0 victory over Rider before falling 4-2 to the Bulldogs later that evening. Lehigh extended its doubles point win streak to five meets in a row, three of which were clean sweeps. The only Mountain Hawk to make it out of the weekend without any losses was Sean Jaeger, who went a perfect 4-0 across two doubles and two singles matches.
Morgan State (1-2) enters Friday's contest having only played in one match since February 9. The Bears had two meets against the University of the District of Columbia and Hofstra that were canceled after splitting their opening meets against Hampton and LIU. Morgan State most recently faced Navy, who defeated them by a score of 6-1.
Marist (3-4) enters Saturday's contest having won their last two meets in a row. The Red Foxes earned a 6-1 win over Fordham last Sunday after defeating Colgate 5-2 the week before. Marist also defeated Lafayette 4-3 on February 3, making them 2-0 against Patriot League teams this season.
The Mountain Hawks will first face Morgan State at 6 p.m. on Friday at the Lewis Indoor Tennis Center. Saturday's match with Marist will begin at 5 p.m. in Poughkeepsie.
