Mountain Hawks Travel to Trinity College to Play Dartmouth

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh men's lacrosse will travel to Hartford, Conn., to take on Dartmouth in a neutral site-game held at Trinity College on Monday at 7 p.m. The Mountain Hawks enter Monday's game with a 1-2 overall record. The Big Green are 1-1. Monday's game will be streamed on Dartmouth's YouTube channel.
Lehigh last played on Feb. 17 against No.5/8 Cornell, suffering a 17-13 loss. After being down by as many as six goals in the first half, Lehigh cut its deficit to just one goal in the third quarter, but the Big Red would go on to score the next four goals.
Senior attackman Scott Cole was named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week on Feb. 19 after recording a game-high of seven points (6G, 1A) against Cornell. Cole, the reigning Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year, has a team-high of 11 points (10G, 1A). In the game against Cornell, Cole scored his 100th career goal on his sixth and final goal. He's just four goals away from moving into 10th-place for most goals scored (104).
Sophomore Andrew Kelly has scored eight points (7G, 1A), and Dakota Eierman is third on the team in scoring with six points (4G, 2A).
Richard Checo earned a Patriot League honorable mention on Feb. 19 after he caused three turnovers and picked up four ground balls. In three games played, Checo has caused a team-high of six caused turnovers while also picking up eight ground balls.
Dartmouth last played on Saturday, picking up its first win of the season in a 14-8 victory over Holy Cross. The Big Green have only played Patriot League teams this season after opening up the season with a 15-13 loss to Bucknell.
Through two games played for Dartmouth, Hooper Zappitello leads the way with points (2G, 6A). Nate Davis is right behind Zappitello with seven points (5G, 2A).
Senior goalkeeper Nick Pecora has 11.33 saves per game. Pecora owns a 47.2% save percentage for the Mountain Hawks. The Big Green have played three goalkeepers in their two games. Ryan Williamson got the start against Holy Cross, recording 15 saves.
