Lehigh Wins Second Straight Match with 4-0 win over Seton Hall

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh women's tennis picked up its second straight win, defeating Seton Hall 4-0 Saturday afternoon at the Lewis Indoor Tennis Center.Â
The Mountain Hawks started off strong in doubles play, once again sweeping all three doubles matches to secure the doubles point. Hamsa Javagal and Audrey Harrington stayed undefeated in doubles as they bested Aili Hietala and Anastasia Sereda 6-3.Â
Anushka Dania and Megha Dania beat Niamh Campbell and Imogen Brooker 6-1, and Maggie Forkner and Allyce Gaborik defeated Hili Kronzon and Arabella Moen 6-3.Â
In the singles matches, Javagal lost the first set 6-3, but battled back against Imogen Brooker and won the next two sets 6-2, 6-3. Javagal's win at the No.1 spot clinched the win for the Mountain Hawks.Â
Gaborik picked up the first singles point for Lehigh, defeating Niamh Campbell 6-4, 6-0. Megha Dania was right behind Gaborik, winning her match two minutes later against Emily O'Donovan She won both of her sets 6-1.Â
Lehigh played to clinch, so Forkner, Anushka Dania and Hannah Letzer did not finish their matches.
The Mountain Hawks will look to make it three wins in a row when they take on Marist on March 2.Â
