Lehigh Adds Six To #TheNest As December Signing Period Begins

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – As the Mountain Hawks prepare for their second round playoff showdown at No. 8 Idaho, Lehigh head coach Kevin Cahill announced the addition of six student-athletes that will join the program as the early signing period opened Wednesday.
The six newest Mountain Hawks cover both sides of the ball, with five states represented, covering the eastern and midwestern United States.
"We are very excited about our first signing day," said Cahill, the 2024 Patriot League Coach of the Year. "We were able to target and land key areas of need in our program. Our program has certain things that we look for in our recruiting process, each of these young men fit exactly what we are looking for. Lehigh football got better today with the additions on signing day one. The Nest continues to improve."
Offensively, Lehigh added quarterback Derek Morgan from Eisenhower High School in Kansas and offensive lineman Jake Thomas from Shawnee High School in southern New Jersey. Athlete Anthony Feaster from Montville Township in New Jersey could contribute at running back, receiver or in the defensive secondary.
On the defensive side, the Mountain Hawks added outside linebacker Cole Turner from Mill Creek High School in Georgia, inside linebacker Aidan Williams from Needham, Mass., and safety Tre Meadows from Sycamore High School in Cincinnati.
Lehigh (9-3) will play at No. 8 Idaho Saturday in the second round of the FCS playoffs, with game time set for 6 p.m. PT (9 p.m. ET) from P1FCU Kibbie Dome in Moscow, Idaho. The contest will be broadcast on ESPN+ with audio coverage on FOX Sports Radio 94.7 FM and 1230 AM and LVFOXSports.com beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
