
Lis, Lyght, Schaller Named CSC Academic All-District

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Fifth-year Ava Schaller, senior Corinne Lyght and junior Sophia Lis were named to the Academic All-District Team, College Sports Communicators announced Tuesday afternoon.

The Academic All-District teams, selected by the College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To be eligible for the team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better and be a starter or key reserve.

Schaller appeared in all 17 games, making 15 starts at forward. The Schnecksville, Pa. native scored a goal in Lehigh's matchup with Monmouth back on Sept. 5.

Lyght earns Academic All-District honors after landing on the All-Patriot League Third Team at the conclusion of this season. The senior started and played in all 17 games as a mainstay on Lehigh's backline. She dished out an assist against Holy Cross back on Oct. 12.

Lis saw action in all 17 games, making 11 starts on the forward line. The Princeton, N.J. native scored a goal and contributed an assist in Lehigh's 4-4 draw with Drexel on Sept. 1.

Lehigh finished the season with a record of 3-9-5 and 2-6-1 in Patriot League play.
