
Three Mountain Hawks Named Academic All-District

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Faith Dobosiewicz, Cyndea Labissiere and Sophia Lis from Lehigh women's soccer were tabbed to the CSC Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday afternoon.

Currently studying Management in graduate school, Dobosiewicz earned her Bachelor's with a 3.74 GPA in Sociology. Landing on the team for the second time in her career, Dobosiewicz started in 16 games, finishing the season tied for the team-lead in goals with Lis (3).

A junior Political Science major, Labissiere holds a 3.71 GPA. She appeared in all 17 games, making six starts. The Woburn, Mass. native recorded one goal and one assist.Â

Lis was selected to the team for the third time in her career, holding a 3.86 GPA in Finance. The forward from Princeton, N.J. appeared in all 17 games, making 13 starts.

To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must have a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and meet certain competitive benchmarks for games played or games started. Student-athletes who meet this criteria and have significant on-field accomplishments will move on to the Academic All-America ballot. First-year student-athletes are not eligible for Academic All-District or Academic All-America honors.
