Lehigh Concludes 2025 Season With Loss To Lafayette

EASTON, Pa. - Lehigh women's soccer finished off the season with a 2-1 loss to Lafayette on Wednesday night.
In the 23rd minute, a Lehigh defender misplayed a ball, sending it into the net for an own goal as Lafayette took a 1-0 lead.
The Mountain Hawks led 3-0 in shots on goal, while Lafayette held a 3-1 margin in corners at halftime.
Lehigh executed a strong passing sequence in the 53rd minute, leading to Sophia Lis evening the score at 1-1 off an assist from Cyndea Labissiere.
The Leopards regained the lead in the 57th minute as Nadia Zaffanella scored in the top right of the goal.
Lehigh fought back, outshooting Lafayette 5-3 for the remainder of the game, but the Leopards held on to win 2-1.
Senior goalkeeper Maggie Ousouljoglou recorded two saves, while Lafayette's Catherine Apker made eight.
Seven Mountain Hawks recorded shots in the contest, with Lis and Aminah Baruwa leading the way with three apiece.
Lehigh finishes its season 3-11-3 overall and 1-7-1 in Patriot League play.
