Mountain Hawks Wrap Up Fall Season at ITA Masters Qualifier

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Lehigh women's tennis team closed out its fall season at the ITA Patriot League Masters Qualifier at Army West Point this past weekend. Maggie Forkner, Hamsa Javagal and Allyce Gaborik were the only Mountain Hawks to qualify.
Forkner and Javagal were Lehigh's lone representatives in singles play, and Forkner and Gaborik were the only doubles team for the Mountain Hawks.
Forkner received a bye to the round of 16 before falling to Army's Emily Tannenbaum 6-4, 6-3. Javgal bested Ashley Zilora 6-1, 6-4 in the singles round of 32 before falling to Bucknell's Whitney King, 6-3, 6-0.
Forkner and Gaborik received a bye in the round of 32 before dropping a 6-3 match in the round of 16 to Loyola's Christine Richiez and Lauren Manwiller.
