Lehigh Announces Women’s Soccer Newcomers

This year's incoming class includes three first-years from Texas, two from Pennsylvania, and one each from Massachusetts, New Jersey and Maryland. The transfers are natives of Massachutsetts and New Jersey.
Transfer Faith Dobosiewicz spent the past two years at Rutgers where she was a two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and made Dean's List each semester. Rylie Moschella also joins the Mountain Hawks as a transfer, retaining first-year eligibility following her transition from The University of Cincinnati.
"We are thrilled to welcome our incoming class to the LUWS community," explained coach Calabrese. "With the objective to evolve our team character and to elevate the competitive profile of our program, the incoming student-athletes exhibit a commitment to growth, development, and achievement. This incoming class reflects a concerted effort to refine our recruitment process and to identify compelling and talented student-athletes from a diverse geographical range. Each individual evinces a distinctive skill set and lived experience that will contribute to our team culture, enrich our style of play, and inform our pursuit of competitive excellence."

Aminah Baruwa - 5'6" - Forward - Easton, Pa./Easton Area - Engineering
Baruwa had a stellar career at Easton, garnering 2022 EPC MVP, and broke the school record for goals (37) and points (81) in a season and the record for total goals and points with 93 and 219, respectively. Her career landed her a spot in the Easton Athletics Hall of Fame. The forward was named to the PSCA All-State teams her junior and senior year and was a First Team All-EPC selection three times and a Second Team once. She played club soccer for the Players Development Academy (PDA). The dual-sport athlete was also a member of the track team for two years where she landed on the All-EPC Third Team her freshman year. Academically, she made All-Honors every year of high school and was a recipient of the Little Rock Nine Award

Cathryn Cunningham - 5'5" - Defender - Hoboken, N.J./Immaculate Heart Academy - Arts and Sciences
The Hoboken, N.J. native was part of a team who secured back-to-back NJSIAA State Championships in 2021 and 2022. Her efforts earned her first team all-county and all-state honors in 2022. Cunningham was also nominated for High School Player of the Year in North Jersey 2022. She played club soccer with Match Fit Academy. Academically, the Arts and Sciences major was part of the National Honors Society and was President of French Honors Society.

Faith Dobosiewicz - 5'10" - Forward - Westfield, N.J./Westfield High School - Sociology
Dobosiewicz transferred to Lehigh from Rutgers University where she saw action in 13 total games. The forward was part of a team that won a Big Ten championship and was a College Cup semi-finalist in 2021. She was a two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and made Dean's List each semester at Rutgers. At Westfield, she was a 2019 second team all-state honoree and 2019 First team all-Union County selection. Her high school team was the 2019 Union County co-champion. She played club with Players Development Academy where they were the 2019 ECNL National Champion. Dobosiewicz also has international experience being a U23 Portugal National Team Call-Up. Another dual-sport athlete, she played basketball in high school (2017-2020), where her team won the Union County Conference championship in 2020.

Carly Keene - 5'7" - Forward - Millersville, Pa./Penn Manor High School - Arts and Sciences
The Millersville, Pa. native received all-state, all-league first team, LL League Section One first team, and Penn Manor Outstanding Senior Female Athlete awards at Penn Manor High School. Keene trained at the U.S. Regional ID Training Center and The Girls Academy Regional ID Center, and played club soccer with PA Classics. Academically, the forward graduated high school with honors.
"Carly exhibits quick, shifty, and dynamic 1v1 attacking movements and an unflagging work rate on both sides of the ball. With her ability to relieve pressure and crossing precision, Carly is a creator who loves to assist but can score goals too." - Coach Calabrese

Cyndea Labissiere - 5'10" - Forward - Woburn, Mass./Woburn - Arts and Sciences
The tri-sport athlete at Woburn, Labissiere excelled on the pitch as a four-year varsity starter in soccer, earning All-Star and first team all-conference honors her junior and senior years. She was named a captain her senior year. The Massachuttsets native played club for the FC Stars and was invited to the Olympic Development Program in Florida in 2020-21. Labissiere also had a notable career on the basketball court as a four-year starter and senior captain. She earned All-Star, all-conference, Boston Globe All-Scholastic, Boston Herald All-Scholastic honors her junior and senior years and was named the Middlesex League Co-MVP her senior year. Playing AAU basketball for Evolution Basketball, she led her team to win several championships. In track and field, she holds Woburn's 100m hurdle record (15.22), pentathlon record (2093 points), heptathlon record (3802 pts) and was part of the team that broke the school record for the 4x100 and shuttle hurdle relays. Academically, the Political Science/Law major was a member of the National Honor Society and President of French Honor Society

R'Reeyah Mabry-Francis - 5'10" - Goalkeeper - Baltimore, Md./Baltimore Polytechnic Institute - Engineering
The 5'10" goalkeeper was a captain of both her high school and club teams, playing club with The Coppermine United Soccer Club. Mabry-Francis excelled in the classroom where she was a Collaboration Award Scholarship winner, Lt. William R. King National Honors Society Scholarship award winner, COMSO Empowering Women in Technology Scholarship winner, Baltimore Drifters Scholarship Award Winner, IntelliGenesis's Women Supporting Women STEM Scholarship winner and was named the McCormick Unsung Hero. The Mechanical engineering major was a member of the National Honors society, the High school Involvement Program (HIP) and the Under Armour Student Athlete Leadership Council. She earned Principal's List all four years of high school. A dual-sport athlete, she ran the 400m for the high school track team where she was the city champion.

Macy McCallum - 5'6" - Defense - Houston, Texas/The Kincaid School - Arts and Sciences
McCallum was a Three-time All-Southwest Preparatory Conference and varsity captain at The Kincaid School. The defender was a four- year varsity starter who compiled 25 goals and 35 assists as an outside back. The Houston, Texas native was a finalist for the 2023 VYPE Houston Private School Player of the Year. She played club soccer with The Albion Hurricanes FC ECNL, qualifying and playing for ECNL Champions League in 2022. Another multi-sport athlete in Coach Calabrese's recruiting class, she was a Two-time All-Southwest Preparatory Conference and varsity captain her junior and senior seasons for the track and field team. Academically, she graduated high school with honors.

Rylie Moschella - 5'9" - Midfield - Braintree, Mass./Dexter Southfield/Univ. of Cincinnati - Biology
Moschella is a transfer student and Dean's List honoree from The University of Cincinnati, retaining her first-year eligibility. The midfielder had a stellar career in high school at Dexter Southfield and in club, playing with The FC Stars ECNL. She was a 2022 United Soccer Coaches All-American, an All-American High School Soccer Game selection (2022), a United Soccer Coaches All-Region selection (2022), two-time All-State selection (2022, 2021), 2022 Boston Globe New England Prep School All-Star, a two-time New England Prep School All-League selection (2022, 2021) and a New England Prep School Junior All-Star (2021). The team captain was ranked No. 8 in the Northeast Region by Top Drawer Soccer (Spring 2023). The Massachuttsets native was an ODP Regional Team Selection and NPL National Champion in 2019. Moschella also played varsity basketball in high school. A biology major, she was named to the honor roll all four years of high school.

Mia Tuckwood - 6'2" - Defense/Midfield - Houston, Texas/Episcopal High School - Engineering
Tuckwood was named to the Houston Chronicle All-greater Houston Private School team and was an all-conference player as a captain at Episcopal. The second newcomer from Houston played club soccer with Rise Soccer Club. A 6'2" defender/midfielder, Tuckwood was the varsity football kicker in high school, being the First woman at Episcopal High School to score points and make a tackle. Academically, she was placed on the highest honor roll throughout high school and was Student of the Year for math and studio arts in 2023. Tuckwood was also chosen to speak at her high school graduation.

Natalie Westwood - 5'6" - Defense - Kingwood, Texas/Kingwood - Engineering
Coach Calabrese's third first-year from Texas played for Challenge Soccer Club ECNL - RL, where she was a member of a three-time national qualifier team and was the leading scorer in 2021-22. Academically, she was named Academic All-District (2022, 2023) and Academic All-State in 2023. Westwood was a German Language State Bronze and Gold medalist and Student STEM Scholar - Imperial College of London. She was also a member of the National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society (officer), American Chemical Society and the National Charity League.
