BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Along with adding four first-years to the incoming class of 2027, the Lehigh women's basketball team will add two transfers to the program. The Mountain Hawks have landed Remi Sisselman, a 6-0 guard/forward from Bucknell and Colleen McQuillen, a 5-10 guard from Fordham.Â
"We are thrilled to welcome Colleen and Remi into our Lehigh WBB family," said head coach Addie Micir. "They both have competed and won at the Division I level, and they bring grit, IQ, and experience to our team. Lehigh fans, you'll have a lot of fun watching the way Colleen and Remi play with passion and joy."
Sisselman played in 62 games, making eight starts at Bucknell in her two seasons. Sisselman scored 236 points for the Bison. She scored a career-high of 18 points against St. Bonaventure on Nov. 30, 2022. As a sophomore, she had seven games where she finished in double-figures. Sisselman was a four-year team captain at Half Hollow Hills East High School. A native of Melville, N.Y. Sisselman was named the Long Island Player of the Year and was a McDonald's All-American nominee.
"Remi competes on every possession," Micir said. "She brings a toughness to both ends of the floor, is incredibly versatile on offense, and can really shoot it from deep."
McQuillen appeared in 41 games over her two years at Fordham. She had a career-high of 11 points against Drexel in the first round of the WNIT on March 16. Over her time at Fordham, she scored 123 points and grabbed 45 rebounds. She scored 2,324 career points and was the all-time leading scorer at Cresskill High School in Cresskill, N.J. She was a four-time first team All-League honoree in high school.
"Colleen simply loves to play basketball," Micir said. "A savvy competitor, she can score at all three levels and gets others involved with her passing ability and great court vision."
