Lehigh Announces Incoming Class of 2027

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh women's basketball head coach Addie Micir has announced the incoming class of recruits. These four recruits bring a variety of skills and assets to the Mountain Hawk program.
"We are so excited to have Gracyn, Jessie, Julianna, and Whitney officially join our women's basketball family," said Micir. "This is a class with multiple skill sets who really fit our ;share it and shoot it' mentality. They know how to win and have proven it at the highest scholastic and AAU levels. Mountain Hawk fans will love their grit, competitiveness, and energy!"Â
Gracyn Lovette - Guard - San Rafael, Calif./Marin Catholic High School - Business
Lovette brings a ton of experience with her on both ends of the floor. Lovette played for Marin Catholic High School, where she was a two-time Marin County Athletic League Player of the Year. She won three Marin County Athletic League Championships. Lovette averaged 15.1 points per game, 7.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 3.4 steals in her senior year. She also earned First Team All-State honors in 2022 and 2023 and was the captain for her junior and senior season. Lovette also played softball for Marin Catholic all four years. Lovette also excelled in the classroom and was a member of the National Honor Society. Lovette played AAU for Cal Stars.
"Gracyn is an electric, two-way player with a nonstop motor," Micir said. "On the defensive end, she's active, communicates well, and is aggressive with an ability to rebound and go that creates easy scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates. We love how Gracyn can attack downhill and score from all three levels.Â
Jessie Ozzauto - Guard - Algonquin, Ill./Huntley High School - BusinessÂ
Jessie Ozzauto brings a wealth of talent to the Mountain Hawks. Ozzauto was a three-time Fox Valley All-Conference honoree. At Huntley High School in Algonquin, Ill., she led her team to two Fox Valley Conference Championships and is a two-time regional champion. She earned AP All-State honorable mention honors as a senior. Ozzauto was also a star track and field athlete in high school. She won a state medal in the 4 x 200m relay and was the first in school history to medal at states. In the classroom, Ozzauto is a member of the National Honor Society and will graduate high school cum laude. Ozzauto played AAU basketball for Illinois Lady Lightning.
"Jessie plays the game with such a quiet confidence," Micir said. "She seems to always be in the right place at the right time and makes the game look easy with her athleticism. A fast, combo guard, Jessie will impact the game offensively both on and off the ball and, defensively, her quickness will allow her to defend even the fastest opponents."
Julianna Ouimette - Guard - Minocqua, Wi./Lakeland Union High School - Arts and SciencesÂ
Julianna Ouimette had a standout career at Lakeland Union School. She was a three-time Player of the Year in her conference. She earned First Team All-Conference honors all four years at Lakeland Union High School. Ouimette was a 2,000-point scorer in high school. She broke 18 school records. Ouimette earned First Team All-State honors her junior and senior year. Ouimette averaged 21.1 points her senior year and shot 56.2% from the floor. Ouimette comes from a basketball family, as her mom played at Tennessee and Northwestern. Ouimette also was a member of the Elite Academic All-State in 2022 and 2023. She earned honor roll all four years. She also played tennis, where she earned All-Conference honors in 2022 and 2023. Ouimette played AAU basketball for Flight Elite.
"Julianna is a flat out competitor," Micir said. "Give her a challenge, and she will find a way to get it done. She knows how to score, how to shoot, and how to pass—all things we look for in a lead guard. A major strength is Julianna's toughness as she's fearless battling in the paint and on the glass. "
Whitney Lind - Forward- Florence Ky./Randall K. Cooper High School- Business
Whitney Lind had an outstanding high school career at Randall K. Cooper High School, where she scored 2,257 points and grabbed 1,000 rebounds. Her 1,000 rebounds were a school record. Lind was the 9th Region Player of the Year her senior year. The Kentucky native was a First Team All-State selection by the Courier Journal and the Lexington Herald after averaging 16.1 points and 6.9 rebounds her senior year. Lind was also voted as the Cincinnati Enquirer's' Northern Kentucky Player of the Year her junior and senior year. Lind played AAU for Kentucky Premier EYBL. Lind has a 4.5 overall gpa and will graduate summa cum laude.Â
"Whitney is a stretch four with deep range, who is simply a winner," Micir said." A natural leader, she always finds a way to make an impact on the court. Whitney can defend multiple positions and has a versatile offensive skill set to match. The consummate teammate, she consistently makes those around her better."
