BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh women's swimming and diving team had five swimmers land on the All-Patriot League teams, as announced by the Patriot League Wednesday afternoon. Senior Sarah Hardy was named to the first team, while Mairin Ludwig, Natalie Martin, Julia Stevens and Willa Werwaiss were all named to the second team.
The all-league teams are determined by individual event results and point totals during the league championship. Both the first and second teams consist of 18 members, with more added if there are any ties. All individual event champions automatically earn first-team recognition, with the remaining first-team positions filled based upon point total. All individual event second-place swimmers and divers not already appearing on the first team are then placed onto the second team. The second team also is rounded out by the next highest point tallies.
