Mountain Hawks to Travel to Seton Hall

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh men's swimming and diving team will travel to West Orange, N.J. to take on Seton Hall on Saturday at 12 p.m.Â
Lehigh is 0-3 on the season. Seton Hall is 2-0 after capturing victories against Rider and Monmouth.Â
The Mountain Hawks last competed against West Chester and Rider on Oct. 20 and Oct. 21. Despite some strong performances, Lehigh fell 122-102 to the Golden Rams and 150.5-131.5 to the Broncs.Â
Aaron Williams was a bright spot for the Mountain Hawks. Williams earned Patriot League honorable mentions on Oct. 24 after winning five events Against Rider, Williams came in first in the 50-yard freestyle (20.99), the 500-yard freestyle (5:08.64) and the 1000-yard freestyle (10:37.14).Â
Williams also won the 50-yard freestyle and was on the winning 200-yard relay team versus West Chester.Â
Connor Goodyear also had three first-place finishes. Against Rider, Goodyear won the 200-yard butterfly (1:54.52) and the 500-yard freestyle (4:46.87). Goodyear came in first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:40.87) versus West Chester.Â
Ben Kisker and Elvin Lee were the other two Mountain Hawks to record wins in Lehigh's home opener against West Chester. Kisker won the 200-yard backstroke (1:52.24), and Lee won the 200-yard IM (1:55.09).Â
This is the second straight year that Lehigh is taking on Seton Hall. Lehigh suffered a 166-75 loss to the Pirates last season.Â
Williams and Tim Norris were the lone Mountain Hawks to record wins in the meet against Seton Hall.Â
Following the meet against Seton Hall, Lehigh will host Lafayette on Nov. 17. at Jacobs Pool.Â
