Zaun Named Patriot League Female Runner of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Senior Madison Zaun has been named Patriot League Female Runner of the Week, the league announced Tuesday afternoon.

This is the second career Female Runner of the Week award for Zaun, who finished sixth overall at the Lehigh Invitational last Friday. The Allentown, Pa. native was the top finisher for the Mountain Hawks, finishing the race in 22:06.3.

Lehigh finished second at the Lehigh Invitational with four runners in the top 20, two of which finished in the top ten. The Mountain Hawks will travel to University Park, Pa. for the Harry Groves Invitational on Friday at 10 a.m.

Lehigh will return back to Bethlehem on Friday, Sept. 16 to host Lafayette in the Rivalry presented by Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute. Competition will begin at 5:15 p.m.
