BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh women's swimming and diving team will look to continue its winning ways when the Mountain Hawks take on the Lafayette Leopards on Friday at 6 p.m.Â
The Mountain Hawks are 3-1 this season, with their one loss coming against West Chester.Â
Lehigh is looking for its 15th straight win against Lafayette. The Mountain Hawks defeated the Leopards 211-88 last season after winning 21 events. Hallie Wilson and Sarah Hardy both came away with a couple of first-place finishes in that meet. Wilson won the 100-yard backstroke, and Hardy won the 200-yard backstroke.Â
The Leopards are 0-5 after falling to Loyola, Navy, Bucknell, American and Colgate.Â
Wilson was also on the winning 400-yard medley relay team alongside Maddie Dorish, Hardy and Grace Rogowski. Rogowski is the only one the Mountain Hawks lost to graduation that was on the 400-yard medley relay team last season.Â
Sophomore Sarah Gill has been incredible to start the season. Gill won Patriot League Rookie of the Week on Oct. 11 after sweeping the one-meter and three-meter dive. Gill is still undefeated in both the dives to start the season. Gill also won both dives last year against Lafayette.
The Mountain Hawks will have another break before their next meet when they take on Drexel in Philadelphia on Dec. 3 at 10:30 a.m.Â
