
PLL Playoffs Set to Begin Friday, Featuring Lehigh Presence

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Premier Lacrosse League playoffs begin on Friday night, as two Mountain Hawk alums, along with a current assistant coach, are all alive for a PLL Championship. The playoffs begin with the third-seeded Archers vs. the sixth-seeded Chaos on Friday night at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network, and continue with two other quarterfinal contests on Saturday in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Recent graduate Conor Gaffney saw action in one game for the Archers this season – on July 11 against the Cannons. Meanwhile, the second-seeded Atlas will host the seventh-seeded Chaos on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC. Alum Craig Chick '19 has played in each of the Atlas' last eight games, posting 32 groundballs (12th in the PLL and fourth among non-faceoff specialists) and 11 caused turnovers (which is top 20 in the league), along with a goal. Current assistant coach John Crawley has seen action in six contests, posting seven points (two one-point goals, two two-point goals and an assist).

The third quarterfinal will feature the fourth-seeded Redwoods against the fifth-seeded Whipsnakes on Saturday at 6 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network. All quarterfinal games can also be viewed online via Peacock.

The Waterdogs earned the No. 1 overall seed and a spot into the semifinals, which are set for Sunday, Sept. 5 at Subaru Park in Chester, Pa. The three winners from this weekend will join the Waterdogs in the semis.
