BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Following Lehigh women's lacrosse's big 12-7 win over No. 21 Navy, a trio of Mountain Hawks received Patriot League weekly awards on Monday. Senior Hannah Cermack was named Defensive Player of the Week, graduate student Sondra Dickey garnered Midfielder of the Week and senior Samantha Sagi won Goalkeeper of the Week. The three played critical roles in the Mountain Hawks' victory over the Mids, which clinched the program's seventh straight Patriot League Tournament berth. In the process, Lehigh allowed just seven goals, tied for the fewest goals allowed against Navy in program history.

Earning her first-career Patriot League weekly award, Cermack played a huge role on the defensive end during Lehigh's 12-7 win over No. 21 Navy. She finished with three caused turnovers, including a huge caused turnover with just 4:36 remaining and the Mountain Hawks ahead 9-7. She also had three groundballs and two draw controls, one of which came in the final minutes to help Lehigh pull away. As a team, Cermack and the Mountain Hawks held Navy to just 20 shots, despite the Mids holding a 14-7 edge in draw controls. Lehigh caused 12 of the Mids' 17 turnovers on the afternoon.  For the season, Cermack is tied for second on the Mountain Hawks with eight caused turnovers.

Meanwhile, Dickey picked up her fifth weekly award this season in eight weeks, including her fourth Midfielder of the Week honor. The Inside Lacrosse midseason All-American finished with four goals, one assist, three draw controls and a game-high four caused turnovers against the Mids. Dickey scored an early goal to put Lehigh ahead 2-0, then in the second half, scored three straight goals to turn a 7-6 deficit into a 9-7 lead. She had a big caused turnover with 10:31 remaining and the game tied at seven. After her goal to put Lehigh ahead 8-7, Dickey also picked up the ensuing draw. For the season, her 19 caused turnovers lead the Patriot League (noone else had more than 11 entering the weekend). On Saturday, she moved into second place in program history for career caused turnovers (now 96). Dickey also has 26 goals, three assists, 21 groundballs and 33 draw controls for the season.

Sagi backstopped Lehigh's strong defensive effort, making nine saves, including many timely stops. The Goalkeeper of the Week award marks her second of the season and sixth-career weekly award of any kind. Sagi stopped six of 11 shots sent her way in the first to help the Mountain Hawks head to halftime tied, 5-5. Two of Sagi's saves were particularly critical; one came with 7:22 remaining and Lehigh ahead, 9-7, but down a player due to a yellow card. Earlier in the half (with just under 23 minutes remaining and Lehigh ahead 6-5), Sagi stopped a Navy fast break with a big save. For the season, Sagi owns a 10.58 GAA and 47.7 save percentage.

Sophomore Katia Carnevale also garnered honorable mention recognition after scoring six goals in Saturday's victory.

Lehigh returns to action next Saturday when it travels to Lafayette to face the Leopards. Gametime is set for 4 p.m. on ESPN+.
