Mountain Hawks finish shortened season No. 19 in final Maverik Media Poll

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The final Maverick Media Poll for the shortened college lacrosse season was released by Inside Lacrosse on Monday, and sees the Lehigh men's lacrosse team at No. 19. The Mountain Hawks also began the year at No. 19 in the poll, moving as high as 17. Lehigh was consistently ranked in all national polls throughout 2020, coming in as high as No. 15 in the Mar. 9 US Lacrosse poll.

It marks the third straight season the Mountain Hawks were receiving votes in the final Media Poll, but first time since 2014 they were in the top 20. Lehigh was in the midst of an impressive season in 2020, standing 5-1 and 2-0 in league play, following a 15-10 win over Holy Cross on Mar. 7. The Mountain Hawks ended the year with four straight victories, also beating VMI, NJIT and Navy prior to the win over the Crusaders.
