BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Lehigh men's and women's swimming and diving teams return to Jacobs Pool for the final home meet of the 2017-18 season when the Mountain Hawks host in-state Patriot League rival Bucknell on Saturday. The day will begin with the diving events at 10:30 a.m., followed by the swimming events at 1 p.m. Lehigh will honor its 11 seniors prior to the swimming events with a ceremony starting at 12:45 p.m.

Heading into Saturday's meet, the Lehigh men are 4-4 overall, 2-2 against Patriot League opponents and 3-1 at home this season, while the women are 6-1 overall, 4-0 in Patriot League meets and 3-0 at home. The women will look to go undefeated against league competition for just the second time in program history (1999-00) and will also look for their ninth-straight win at Jacobs Pool.

The Mountain Hawks are back at Jacobs Pool for the first time since dominating archrival Lafayette in their annual dual meet on November 17. The Lehigh men rolled to a 219-80 victory over the Leopards, while the women cruised to a 244-50 triumph.

After closing out the fall semester with a pair of wins against Lafayette, Lehigh returned to action on January 9 with a trip to Patriot League foe Army West Point. Walker Wilson (200 free) and Jimmy Davey (200 IM) captured individual victories in a 184-102 loss to the Black Knights on the men's side. On the women's side, Lehigh won seven events, led by two wins from Ann Foley (200 free, 100 free), en route to a 153-147 victory, which ended a six-year losing streak to the Black Knights.

Davey, Wilson and Zach Tieke have lead the Mountain Hawks throughout the season. Davey owns the Patriot League's top time in the 100 IM with a mark of 53.25 and is coming off back-to-back wins in the 200 IM. Wilson has racked up 12 total victories on the season, including five in the 200 free and four in the 500 free. Tieke has led the way in the sprints with four victories in the 50 free, three in the 100 free and three in the 100 fly.

The Lehigh women have put together a strong campaign with a diverse group of top performers. Several Mountain Hawks currently rank at or near the top of the Patriot League time charts.

Courtney Ferreira holds the top time in 100 breaststroke and Nicole Shek ranks second. Julianne Koch holds the top mark in the 100 IM, while Ferreira owns the second-fastest time.

Miles and Foley have been strong in the sprints all season as Miles ranks second in the 50 free, while Foley ranks second in the 100 free and third in the 200 free. Meghan Thompson has been a strong representative in the distance events as she ranks third in both the 500 and 1000 free.

Following Saturday's meet, Lehigh will have one more competition date before the Patriot League Championships on February 14-17. The Mountain Hawks will split the teams on Jan. 27 with the men traveling to Seton Hall, while the women head down to Princeton.
