Lehigh Back on the Road Saturday to Face Navy

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh continues the second leg of its three-game road trip with a Patriot League contest at Navy on Saturday at 11 a.m.

Lehigh (6-3-1, 1-1-1) is looking get back in the win column in league play, while Navy (2-8-1, 0-2-1) is still searching for its first league win of the season. The Mountain Hawks are coming off a wild back-and-forth battle at Colgate on Tuesday night, which resulted in a 4-4 draw. The Midshipmen enter Saturday's tilt fresh off a 3-2 overtime loss at American on Wednesday night.

After winning their league opener against Army West Point, the Mountain Hawks will be looking to pull off the season sweep over the academies and shake off the two winless results in their last two league games. Lehigh poses a serious threat to any opposing defense with a league-leading 1.8 goals per game on a league-high 18 goals. Mark Forrest and Doyle Tuvesson lead the way as two of the top scoring threats in the league. Forrest leads the league and ranks among the nation's leaders with 2.00 points per game. Tuvesson is one of the best playmakers in the league and owns a league-high seven assists on the season.

Navy has dropped its last two league meetings against Loyola and American after opening league play with a 1-1 draw against Holy Cross. The Mids rank fourth in the Patriot League in goals per game (1.1) and is seventh in goals allowed per game (1.6). Senior Daniel Zaremba leads Navy with seven points and three goals this season, while Jones is second on the team with six points on three goals. Freshman Phillip Gustafson has scored two goals, while junior TJ Powers leads Navy and ranks fourth in the Patriot League with four assists.

Navy leads the all-time series, 32-18-7, over Lehigh since the inaugural meeting in 1922. The Mountain Hawks defeated the Mids in last season's meeting, 2-1, in Bethlehem, but Navy has been victorious in the last two meetings in Annapolis.

Parking / Shuttle Information
Fans are reminded that the general public does not have access to drive their vehicles on to the U.S. Naval Academy. Fans may park at the new Navy Clinic at 695 Kinkaid Road and take a shuttle that will run every 10 minutes starting at 10:00 AM, one hour prior to the game and will continue running until one hour after the game is completed. Fans 18 and over need a government-issued photo ID. Dogs are not permitted inside the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility.
