Lehigh Returns Home to Face Bucknell

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Mountain Hawks will put their four-game Patriot League unbeaten streak on the line Wednesday night as they return home to take on in-state league foe Bucknell at 6 p.m. The game will be streamed live for free on PatriotLeague.TV and WatchStadium.com, and will be streamed live on Twitter by following @WatchStadium as part of Stadium's over-the-air (OTA) featured event coverage.

Lehigh (10-4-1, 4-1-1) is currently on a three-game win streak with victories over Lafayette, Drexel and American. The Mountain Hawks own a 9-1 goal differential during their current win streak and have produced an 11-5 scoring margin with a 3-0-1 record in their last four Patriot League games.

Bucknell (5-7-3, 3-3) is coming off a 1-0 Patriot League win over Army West Point on Saturday which bumped the Bison up three spots in the league standings. The win broke a four-game winless skid, including a two-game slide in league play.

Lehigh and Bucknell have played four common Patriot League opponents this season which consist of American, Army, Colgate and Lafayette. The Mountain Hawks are 3-0-1 against those teams, while the Bison are 2-2-0.

A trio of Mountain Hawks earned Patriot League weekly honors for their stellar performances last week. Mark Forrest is the now the two-time defending Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week coming off an eight-point performance in two wins last week. He has 13 points in the last two weeks with a goal in each of the four games.

Alex Greene was named the Midfielder of the Week as he totaled six points last week on two goals and two assists. Greene tallied the game-winning goal against Drexel and assisted on the game-winner against American. Will Smith also picked up a weekly award for his performance in goal. The sophomore keeper totaled 12 saves on the week and picked up his fourth clean sheet of the season in a seven-save performance at Drexel.

The Mountain Hawks are second in the Patriot League standings with 13 points, behind Loyola and Boston U who are tied with 15. Bucknell jumped up to fourth in the standings behind Lehigh with nine points. With three league games remaining for all the teams in the Patriot League, Lehigh would lock up a postseason berth with a win on Wednesday night. The Brown and White is looking for its third postseason appearance in the last four seasons and is in pursuit of its second league title in the last three seasons. Â
