Â
ALL-TIME VS. BOSTON U.
The Mountain Hawks and Terriers enter Saturday 5-5 all-time against each other, with Lehigh having won five of the seven meetings between the two since Boston joined the Patriot League in 2013. Lehigh entered this season with a five-game winning streak against BU, which ended with the Terriers' win on Jan. 2, where they overcame a 16-point deficit with just over five minutes remaining to win 69-64.
Â
BU is Lehigh's least frequent league opponent, with the next closest being Loyola (13 games). The first meeting between the two schools came back on Dec. 28, 1989 in Boston with the Terriers winning 68-55.
Â
Since BU joined the Patriot League, Lehigh has outscored the Terriers by an average of 67.3-65.8. Lehigh's highest scoring output came on Jan. 3, 2015 when the Mountain Hawks put up 85. The largest margin of victory for either side came in Lehigh's 28-point, 72-44 win on Dec. 30, 2012.
Â
Lehigh holds a 3-3 record against BU at Stabler Arena and is 2-2 on the road.
Â
SCOUTING THE TERRIERS
Boston enters their second matchup of the year against Lehigh with an identical 6-13 overall record, but sits at 4-4 in a tie for fifth in the Patriot League. BU is coming off two straight losses, one in double overtime at Colgate (96-87) and another against top ranked Bucknell (66-50).
Â
Boston ranks eighth in the Patriot League with 58.6 ppg and scoring margin (-6.7), ninth in scoring defense (65.3), and fourth in rebounding margin (-1.3). From the outside, BU has climbed to fourth in the PL in 3FG% (31.8), is ninth in three-pointers/game (4.4), and ranks sixth by allowing opponents to shoot 33.3 percent from beyond the arc.
Â
Individually, BU has multiple players ranked in the league's top five, including Sophie Beaudry (4th/49.2 FG%) and Courtney Latham (3rd/3.6 assists/game). Sarah Hope leads the Patriot League with 3.3 3FG made and 36.6 minutes per game, and Beaudry leads the league on the defensive end with two blocks per game.
Â
Since the start of league play, Boston is in the middle of the pack in most statistical categories, but does lead the PL in three-point pct (38.5) and ranks third with 14.6 assists per game.
Â
On Jan. 2 against Lehigh, Nia Irving scored 16 of her game-high 26 points in the fourth quarter. Beaudry (16) and Latham (10) also scored in double figures. Irving added a game-high 10 rebounds, while Latham and Naiyah Thompson had nine apiece.
Â
STARTING A NEW STREAK
Lehigh's win over Lafayette last Saturday ended the team's 10 game losing streak, the third longest in school history and its longest losing streak since a 15-game skid that spanned the 1993-94 and 1994-95 seasons. Lehigh enters Saturday looking for back-to-back wins for the first time since Nov. 19/22.

Â
TOP WO'MANN' AT THE LINE
After going 7-for-7 at the free throw line over the last three games, junior Quinci Mann holds the highest free throw percentage in the Patriot League at 87.9 percent (58-for-66). The percentage also ranks her 24th in the entire country in that category.Â
