Bonaguidi Collects Weekly Honor from Patriot League

CENTER VALLEY, Pa – Lehigh freshman Hannah Bonaguidi has been honored by the Patriot League as the Female Runner of the Week after her win at the Lehigh-Lafayette cross country dual meet this past Saturday.

Bonaguidi has taken home the top spot in each of Lehigh's two races so far this season, most recently breaking the tape at last weekend's dual meet with a time of 22:07.9. She averaged a 5:56 mile pace on the hilly Lafayette course, helping Lehigh top the Leopards for the 12th straight year by a score of 18-44.

This is the second major weekly award for Bonaguidi this season, having previously been named the PL Rookie of the Week on Sept. 5 after besting the field of 57 runners at the Lehigh Invitational (21:32.5).

Bonaguidi and the rest of the Mountain Hawks will compete this Saturday at the Ted Owen Invitational in New Britain, Conn.
