BETHLEHEM, Pa.—Lehigh will look to build on its 3-1 record at the Citrus Classic II as the Mountain Hawks prepare to return to Florida for their spring break trip featuring 12 games in eight days.

The Mountain Hawks will begin spring break with six games over three days at the Rebel Spring Games in Winter Haven. Lehigh will start off with games against Sacred Heart (10 a.m.) and Presbyterian (12:15 p.m.) on Saturday. On Sunday, Lehigh will face Florida A&M (9 a.m.) and Akron (11:15 a.m.) before concluding the Rebel Spring Games portion of their trip with games against Niagara (10 a.m.) and Creighton (12:15 p.m.) on Monday March 9.

Last weekend in Orlando, the Mountain Hawks opened their season by splitting games against Omaha (6-5 win) and Indiana (15-7) loss on Friday. Saturday's action against Maryland and Notre Dame was rained out, but the Mountain Hawks finished the weekend with two close victories against Northern Iowa by a score of 2-0 and Saint Francis (Pa.), 3-2.

Following Lehigh's 3-1 weekend, senior Emily Bausher earned Patriot League Pitcher of the Week honors and freshman Nicole Yozzo was recognized as Patriot League Rookie of the Week. In Bausher's first start of the season against Omaha, the New Jersey native went seven innings, allowing just two earned runs and accumulating ten strikeouts. Bausher followed her strong performance on Friday up with a one-hitter against Northern Iowa to earn her 16th career shutout. At the plate, freshman outfielder Nicole Yozzo amassed a .857 batting average over the weekend, earning 12 hits in 14 at bats, including the game-tying RBI single against Omaha in the fifth inning.

Juniors Alexis Watanabe and Jessica Calvini also hit over .400 at the Citrus Classic, with Watanabe going 6-for-13 with a pair of RBI singles against Saint Francis. Calvini was 5-for-12 and drove in three runs, which tied senior Emma Capetz for the team lead.

After the Rebel Spring Games, Lehigh will move on to Tampa for two games at USF on Wednesday March 11. The Mountain Hawks will face Georgetown at 2:30 p.m. and then the host USF Bulls at 5 p.m.
Both Georgetown and USF have found some success this year, with USF achieving an overall record of 12-7 with an 11-6 record at home. The Bulls will host five more games before Lehigh and Georgetown visit Wednesday. The Hoyas are 6-5 and will play five games in Tampa this weekend.

Finally, Lehigh will conclude the week at the USF Under Armour Invitational where they will square-off against Green Bay and Central Michigan on March 13 at 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m., respectively. Green Bay is the defending Horizon League Champion and enters this weekend with a 2-3 record. The Mountain Hawks will conclude the quick two day tournament with two more games the following day against Florida A&M at 1:45 p.m. and UMass-Lowell at 6:30 p.m.

Following the spring break trip, Lehigh is currently slated to open its home schedule with a March 18 doubleheader against Penn and a three game series against defending Patriot League champion Boston University in the league opener March 21-22.
