Mountain Hawks place 20 on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll

Complete Patriot League Honor Roll
BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Lehigh women's lacrosse team has placed 20 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, as announced on Monday. Junior Design major and three-time All-Patriot League honoree Carli Sukonik was one of just 13 in the entire league to earn a 4.0 semester grade-point average.
To be eligible for the Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average during the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
Along with Sukonik, junior Emily Solenberger also garnered a 4.0 GPA in Behavioral Neuroscience. Sukonik was also named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team in April (along with classmate Lauren Willcox). She led the team with 32 goals in 2014 and will enter her senior season with 98 career goals.
Not far behind was Willcox with a 3.97 GPA in Biology, who also garnered the Scholar-Athlete of the Year award at the team's annual end-of-year banquet. Willcox was also a first team All-Patriot League and Academic All-League honoree in 2014.
The Mountain Hawks had seven other student-athletes earn GPAs over 3.50 including, sophomore Hannah Street with a 3.94 in Business, senior Julie Tatios with a 3.69 in Journalism and sophomore Kris Abens with a 3.62 in Earth and Environmental Science.
On the field, the Mountain Hawks finished 4-4 in league play and advanced to its first Patriot League Tournament since 2011. The team also defeated Boston University 12-11 in double overtime to hand the Terriers their first-ever Patriot League loss.
