BETHLEHEM, Pa. - After a pair of productive games, Lehigh women's lacrosse freshman Krista Dampman was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week for the second time this season, as announced on Monday. Dampman tallied seven points over two games, led by a career-high five goals in Sunday's 10-6 win over American.

Dampman's five goals came on five shots in an efficient performance. She scored four of the team's seven second-half tallies to help the Mountain Hawks pull away from the Eagles. Dampman scored the first two second-half goals to tie the score at five then make it 7-5 and 8-5 in favor of Lehigh.

Earlier in the week, the Garden City, N.Y. native had one goal and one assist in a 9-8 overtime loss at #20 Navy on Wednesday.  Her goal gave Lehigh a 3-2 first-half lead.

For the season, Dampman is fourth on the team with 26 points behind 24 goals and two assists.

Standing 7-7 overall and 4-3 in the Patriot League, Lehigh will wrap up the regular season against Patriot League opponent Holy Cross on Saturday. Opening draw is set for 1 p.m. at the Ulrich Sports Complex. Lehigh's seniors will be recognized prior to their Senior Day Game.

The Mountain Hawks have already clinched a Patriot League Tournament berth, but with a win on Saturday, would clinch a home game in the quarterfinals next Tuesday (Apr. 22).
