BETHLEHEM, Pa -- Looking to capitalize on a big win over Lafayette on Saturday night, the Lehigh women's basketball team will host third-place Army Monday in a game that was originally scheduled for February 5. The game will be broadcast live on Service Electric 2 Sports (Channel 50) and for free online via the Patriot League Network.

The Mountain Hawks captured a 73-59 win over rival Lafayette on Senior Night Saturday. The win marked the third time that Lehigh defeated a team it had lost to in the first half of league play. The contest was tied at 54 before the Mountain Hawks closed the game on a 19-5 run to capture Lehigh's eighth-straight home win over Lafayette.

Juniors Sarah Williams and Katie O'Reilly as well as sophomore Kerry Kinek each scored 16 points. Kinek also recorded a team-leading 11 rebounds to secure her third double-double of the season. Williams dished a team-leading five assists.

The Mountain Hawks finished the game shooting 42.3 percent (30-for-71) from the field compared to Lafayette's 32.4 percentage (23-for-71). Lehigh held the Leopards to just 23.1 percent (9-for-39) in the second half. Lehigh connected on 11 of its 13 free throw attempts, while Lafayette shot 62.5 percent (10-for-16) from the charity stripe. Lehigh held a 50-45 rebound advantage and forced 15 Lafayette turnovers compared to its own 14.

The Black Knights look to string together back-to-back wins for the first time since Feb. 8 when Army visits Lehigh Monday. Army currently sits in third place in the Patriot League with a league mark of 11-4.

Senior Jen Hazlett scored 20 points and grabbed a career-high-tying 12 rebounds to lead the Army a 64-60 victory over American on Saturday afternoon at Christl Arena. American was in front by as many as eight in the opening half, but Army used a 16-7 run that spanned into the second half to capture the victory over the visiting Eagles.

Army sophomore Kelsey Minato also netted 20 points while collecting six boards, and classmate Brianna Johnson and freshman Danielle Failor each chipped in six points. Sophomore Aimee Oertner controlled six rebounds and turned away a season-high-tying four shots.

Minato is the league's leading scorer, averaging an impressive 21.7 points per game. Hazlett averages a team-high 7.1 rebounds while also recording a mean of 13.8 points per game.

Army's four league losses came against Navy, Bucknell, Holy Cross and Colgate. The Black Knights are 14-1 at home and just 5-6 on the road.

Army claimed the first meeting of the season, 74-63, in West Point, N.Y. Following a 14-point halftime deficit, the Mountain Hawks were able to narrow the Black Knight lead to five points midway through the closing half, but Army held on to claim the win and remain undefeated at home.
