BETHLEHEM, Pa. – In its final match before spring break, the Lehigh women's tennis team battled hard against a tough Stony Brook squad but ultimately fell 7-0 to the visiting Seawolves Saturday inside the Lewis Tennis Center. While a number of matches were closer than the final scores indicated, Stony Brook won two doubles matches and swept six singles matches to claim the win and drop Lehigh to 2-5 on the season.
Stony Brook claimed the doubles point with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 flights but Lehigh did pick up a win at the top flight where senior Jenai Bilimoria and junior Abby Farrell won 8-5 against Nadia Smergut and Louise Badoche.
