Lehigh to host Women's National Tournament this weekend

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The U.S. Lacrosse National Tournament heads to Bethlehem this weekend, which includes a showdown between Team USA and Team Canada on Saturday. The tournament began in 1933 to showcase the best post-collegiate and club women's lacrosse players and has grown into one of the largest women's lacrosse events in the nation.
 
“Lehigh is proud to host this premier lacrosse tournament which showcases many of the most talented high school players representing all regions of the United Sates,” said Lehigh head coach Jill Redfern.
 
The tournament works around the women's lacrosse National Semifinals and Championship Game down the road at Villanova. Individuals will check in on Friday while Saturday will feature games capped off by the U.S. National Team against Canada at 5 p.m. Games are set for Sunday morning while everything wraps up with the Schoolgirls Division I Championship Game at 2 p.m.
 
The Division I National Semifinals at Villanova are set for Friday at 5 and 7 p.m. and Title Game is Sunday at 8 p.m.
