New season of Lehigh Sports Magazine kicks off Monday night

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Don't miss the season's first Lehigh Sports Magazine television show premiering Monday night. For 18 years, this half-hour show has been delivering Lehigh fans with head coach and student-athlete appearances, highlights and much more. Hosted by WFMZ sports anchor Jim Vaughn, the Lehigh Sports Magazine can be seen every Monday night in the Lehigh Valley, Philadelphia, and western New Jersey on WFMZ-TV channel 69 (Service Electric Cable TV dial position 8).

This week on the Lehigh Sports Magazine, seventh-year head football coach Andy Coen recaps his team's 27-17 season-opening win over Monmouth and looks forward to this Saturday's contest at Central Connecticut State. Head field hockey coach Stacey Blue will bring along senior Kelsey Zeswitz and freshman Rachel Werley to look back at the season thus far and look ahead to what's in store. The men's cross country team opened its season with a win Friday at the Lehigh Invitational. Head coach Todd Etters and junior Sam Bernitt will drop by to recap the Lehigh Invitational and preview the rest of the cross country season.

For the tenth consecutive year, the Lehigh Sports Magazine can be seen via streaming video on the Lehigh athletics web site on-demand beginning each Monday evening. The web broadcast is streamed free of charge through the Lehigh GameCentral portal, powered by Stretch Internet. Each show is archived and may be viewed on-demand at no charge.

For those outside the WFMZ-TV viewing area, the show can be seen each week via Lehigh television partner Fox College Sports Atlantic, available in over 60 million homes on digital cable systems nationwide. The Lehigh Sports Magazine will air each Thursday at 1 p.m. ET on FCS Atlantic, with several additional showings to follow throughout the weekend.

Locally and regionally, new episodes will premiere each Monday evening at new time of 7 p.m. on WFMZ. Service Electric 2 Sports will also broadcast the LSM each Tuesday afternoon at 5:30 p.m.
