Women’s lacrosse announces upcoming fall schedule

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh head women's lacrosse coach Jill Redfern announced the team's fall schedule on Monday, which includes four tournaments beginning with a home tournament on Saturday, Sept. 29. The Mountain Hawks will play more than 10 games in a span of 29 days against a variety of top competition, including Johns Hopkins, Duke, Georgetown and more.
Lehigh begins the fall season at home on Saturday, September 29 at the Ulrich Sports Complex. The Mountain Hawks begin their fall against Saint Joseph's at 9 a.m. Shortly after that game, they will take on Marist at 11 a.m. before closing the day out with Adelphi at 1 p.m.
One week later on Oct. 6, Lehigh will head to the United States Training Center in Downingtown, Pa. where it'll play three games. The Mountain Hawks face Patriot League foe Bucknell at 10 a.m., Duke at 1 p.m. and Villanova at 3 p.m.
Lehigh will return to action the following weekend, playing three games at John Hopkins' Homewood field on Oct. 13. At Johns Hopkins, Lehigh will face Temple at 10 a.m., Georgetown at 12 p.m. and Hopkins at 1 p.m.
Then two weeks later, the Mountain Hawks will head to Georgetown where they'll face Temple at 10 a.m., Delaware at 11 a.m. and Georgetown at 3 p.m.
