Astor earns All-East honors at ECAC Championships

PRINCETON, N.J. – Lehigh women's track and field sophomore Brooke Astor earned All-East honors for the second consecutive year at the ECAC Championships over the weekend. Astor placed fourth in the heptathlon with 4,674 points to earn five points for the Mountain Hawks, which finished 39th overall. Astor won the 100m hurdles along the way with a time of 14.85.
Lehigh also got great performances in the hammer throw as Jimil Ataman placed 13th (53.22m) and E'Lana Lemon was 17th (51.50m).
Katherine Pierce finished 19th in the 5,000m run with a time of 17:09.79. Victoria Berard was 21st in the 10,000m run with a time of 37:16.60 and Rebecca Duhamel was 32nd in the discus with a time of 40.96.
The Mountain Hawks will not wait to see who will qualify for the NCAA Regionals which will be May 25-26 in Jacksonville, Fla.
