Dykstra featured in Sports Illustrated’s Faces in the Crowd

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh women's lacrosse senior midfielder Lauren Dykstra is featured in this week's Sports Illustrated among the “Faces in the Crowd.” The Patriot League's all-time leading scorer is highlighted on page 21 of this week's issue, which arrives in subscribers' mailboxes on Wednesday, Apr. 27 and hits the newsstands on Thursday.

With four goals against Virginia Tech, Dykstra broke the Lehigh and Patriot League record for career goals (243), which also moved her into the top 10 in NCAA history. Since, she has tallied 10 more goals and now stands seventh all-time with 253.

Dykstra currently leads the nation in goals with 68 while she is second in points with 81. Just Tuesday, she was named Patriot League Midfield Player of the Year, giving her four major awards for her career. This came after being named Rookie of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year in her first three seasons.
